It's fine. I have stopped mid way through a few times b/c the pill that the Dr. put me on did not sit well with me (made me way moody, not to be gross but bleeding vry heavy in the middle of my cycle~ Dr. told me it was 'break through bleeding' but I was very freaked at the amount etc. I had called planned parenthood about the last one and they told me that it would be just fine to stop mid way or anytime I wanted, you just need a back up bc if you dont' want to chance becoming pg. If you are planning to stop the pill to TTC, then I'd ask my Dr. how long to wait before TTC so the pill is completely out of you and won't be risky. I have known some girls that just stop the pill and become gp. Their babies are just fine.Kelly

No no children for me, back up methos in place. i just dont wnat to be on it anymore. My PMS ahs gotten so bad I think its fromthe pill Im testingThanks for the input

Wacky: I'm sure it's fine. Have you tried other types of pills? I was on Orthotrycyclin and it totally messed me up. I gained 10lbs in one month without changing my eating habits and I had the worst PMS ever!!
But then I switched to Loestrin FE and lost all the weight and don't have any PMS symptoms.

Wacky-have you considered the birth control patch? I am thinking of switching to it because I am so bad at taking my pill
A few of my friends are using it and love it.

You can definitely stop it after the crimson wave. It shouldn't have any side effects. That's what I was told from my dr. when I went through like a zillion Q's w/her.
