Re: Do you have..
Stuffed French ToastOne loaf of Challah
bananas
1/2 c. pecans
8 oz. cream cheese
8 eggs
1 c.milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch nutmeg
Cut the bread into 1 & 1/2 inch slices
Make a slit in each slice so you have a pocket to put the stuffing
slice the bananas and put in a bowl
break pecans into pieces and mix into cream cheese
Now with a butter knife or spatula put some cream cheese mixture in the pocket, followed by 3-4 slices of the banana
In a large bowl mix together the eggs, milk , cinnamon and nutmeg and pour into a large roasting pan or large lasagna pan . put the slices of french toast into the pan. Let it sit for about 10 min. and turn over. Let sit until the liquid is absorbed.
Bake in a 350 degree oven until brown . You might have to flip the slices if doesn't brown on all sides or you can take a pan with some butter and fry each piece off.
You can stuff this with anything.
You can also just cut the bread 1 in think don't stuff it use the same liquid mixture and fry off.
enjoy

Re: Do you have..
Ladies thank you very much for taking the time to repond back and type of these yummy treats!!!
I wanted to share what hayleyandsteve a fellow 07 posted CHOCOLATE F.T.
Serves twoChat Icon
You'll need...
-4 slices of white sandwich bread
-good quality thin semi-sweet chocolate bar (ghirardelli is what I used)
-2 large eggs
-2 Tbs. sugar
-1/2 cup half-and-half
-1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
-1/4 tsp. kosher salt
-2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
-Confectioner's sugar (for dusting)
Cut each bread into 4 triangles by slicing diagonally.
Break the chocolate into triangles that are roughly the same size as the bread (but a little smaller).
Whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined, then add the half-and-half, vanilla, and salt. Whisk some more until combined.
Heat 1 Tbsp. of butter in medium nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Dip bread pieces into bowl of egg mixture and make sure they are soaked.
Once butter has melted and is sizzling, add half of the bread pieces in one layer.. but leave a little space between the pieces.
Cook until browned (approx. 2 minutes), then turn and cook on other side until nicely browned.
Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels, and take skillet off heat.
Put a triangle of chocolate on half of the bread pieces, an top with the other piece of bread (leave the best-looking pieces for the tops!). Let those sit.
Return pan to heat and add other Tbsp. butter, cook remaining bread in same way, and again fill with chocolate.
After you make the sandwiches, dust them with confectioner's sugar! (I just put it into a mesh strainer and shake the strainer and it came out really nicely!)
