Re: Nurtisystem Diet...
I am joining ww...but i have heard good things about this diet...it seems expensive for the food though and i hear the food isn't that good. I think it's good for a short term time if you are motivated enough to eat the food.....

Re: Nurtisystem Diet...
I know a few ppl who have tried it. They all HATED the food and it's expensive, plus even with the food, you have to add salads and fruits & veggies. IMO, it's not worth it. Unless you're looking for a quick fix and can commit to gross food. I think you'd be better off with either WW or South Beach.

Re: Nurtisystem Diet...
I was on it a long time ago; The food was disgusting!! Maybe it's changed? I didn't stick with it. When I put myself on a 1200 cal. diet, I've successfully lost weight. Because I'm diabetic, I know that 1200 is the right caloric amt. for me. If you don't have health issues, limiting protein as diabetics do, I can tell you that protein, drinking lots of water, and the 'E' word, exercise, will bring the weight down; I hate exercise, but I have found that walking a few times weekly, while being on a 1200 cal. diet, works! I need to get this plan going again, so I won't look bad at my Daughter's wedding! Success to you!! Mary MOB

Re: Nurtisystem Diet...
I haven't really heard anything about it except for Tori Spelling on her reality show. They showed her eating it. She loved it and she says that's how she got all of her baby weight off.

FH father did and he lost 40 lbs.... he said it wasnt hard, you just have to learn to eat alot of salads and veggies with the meals because they are small. good luck

Re: Nurtisystem Diet...
I replied on another board. Mom did this & it worked....and worked steadily & consistently. No, the food is not delicious, but it gives you a serious idea about what portions you really should be eating (much smaller than we are used to) & teaches you to calorie count. The best part is she said she never felt hungry (which she did with other diets).

I have been wanting to do it for a while now and finally decided to start the other day - im trying to keep an open mind about the food (i have heard some mixed reviews)it was REALLY cheap on QVC.com - only $167 for 4 weeks!
Im really hoping that it works!!!!

Re: Nurtisystem Diet...
I did it for my wedding. I started in January 2007. I intially weigh 151lbs and by the end of April I was down to 128lbs. I have always been active (runner) so exercise wasn't a problem, but being a resident i never have time to cook/make meals. Honestly the food isn't the greatest (I loved the breakfast and desserts, but the lunch and dinners were my favorite) If you follow the program it definately works! I will say though that it has been hard to keep it off since I started back on regualr foods (After the wedding) I have gain about 10lbs which I am not at all happy about - but I also have been having a hard time keeping my mouth closed
