I finally feel like I'm doing wedding planning!

So, we booked the church :)

We met with photographer and we'll probably book him by the end of the week :)

And today I FINALLY called our first choice for the RH. Of course, right now it's only the first choice because of it's proximity to the church, but hey, it's a start, right?

Our first choice is Babylon Carriage House because we want a champagne brunch buffet. They have the exact brunch menu we want. It's only about 15 minutes from the church. We already discussed with TP photo about doing all the pictures before the ceremony. So we figure mass from 11-12, brunch at 12:30, timing is perfect.

Our other choice is George Washington Manor because they accomodate small weddings (our guest list is only 85 people) and they have beautiful grounds. They also have a nice buffet menu, but not quite the brunch we want.

Of course, there's always my final choice which is a huge BBQ on the beach afterwards. But knowing my luck it will be pouring rain and then what? LOL

congrats...i love the babylon carriage house (and since im doing a brunch it sounds like a good choice too...thanks for the idea) and didnt know they do parties...how many guests are you planning?

Our guest list is 85 people. We're not sending out STD's and it's Labor Day weekend, so we're guessing that we'll have less than that.

The banquet manager and me have been playing phone tag..I'll give you info once I get it!
