After reading Brianand Marie's Anyone Wanna thread I thought why not have a gtg. This gtg will be a sort of 'bachlorette party' in honor of TWOTY the following weekend.

I'll do either if I have someone to drive in with or take the train with! If we take the train we then have to take 2 subways and then walk 6 blocks And again- me driving in Queens-JUST NOT GOOD!! Long story but I've had some BAD experiences

i can only do friday... sat have plans and sunday is my day with dh... why is it changing all of a sudden? i wouldn't mind seeing it earlier though.

Hey Heather...I'm just throwing a couple of options out there...to see if perhaps with tweaking some details I can help with some of the concerns (traffic worries).

the only i'd say about 5:30 is that the place may be dead around that time....if u ladies don't care ('cause then it'll just be us! lol) then go for it - but just wanted to throw it out there... i went there recently and it started to get busy around 10ish. so 8 may be better???? i dont know! either way i'm right around the corner so i'm in :) just let me know the absolute DEFINITE date so i can take off of work! it would TOTALLY suck if i couldn't come 'cause of work but was right around the corner wishing i was there!

I think 8 isnt a bad time-if it were earlier would be much better for me but thats just me. I could not do anything that started at 9 or 10 because Im going home to NJ-takign subways all the way back to NYC from Queens and then trains to NJ...not the best thing to do alone at night.

Sat I have plans with DH.

As far as traffic, I wouldnt think going into the city at an early time like 6 would be so bad as outbound tarffic. It isnt when you're coming ffrom NJ. Later I would think there would be more tarffic with people going to dinner/shows etc.

I know most resturants get crowded around 7 because thats when people seem to like to eat and why DH and I happily go at 5:3opm.

oh - & i just realized this is for next weekend...so my sched. for work is most likely already out. i'll check on fri. when i go into work & let u know...i REALLY hope i can make it! if anything i'll just be there late...u ladies better hang around & wait for me since this will be the first g2g i get to go too!

Same here. Personally I think earlier would be better because the main reason for doing it later was so the place is more busy but if its a bunch of us meeting for the first time, wouldn't quieter be better so we can have a godo time AND actually hear one another?

Traffic going into the city is generally worse (fom NJ anyway) after 6:30pm because people start travelling in for dinner and shows on Friday night. JMO.

i have a very early day that day, and i'm not staying later then 12 cause my ride is easly over 1 hour and if i drive others, then i'm def not getting home till very late...

BTW- for all the girls looking for rides, I think its Marie and Michelle, Ryan and I are trying to work out some sort of system to carpool with all the suffolk girls... we'll keep you guys posted when have something figured out
