Wedding Day Nail Advice Needed

I live in Queens but I was raised on LI. I'm getting married soon and need to figure out what to do about nails. I used to wear extensions for the longest time, but my FH likes them natural- The only thing is that the wedding in Jan 31st & I just went through some MAJOR breakages- we are moving 1/18 so packing boxes & stuff is taking it's toll.

Are there any places in LI that do the sculpted nails.. preferably with the permanent french? I prefer places close to Nassau/Suffolk border.

Re: Wedding Day Nail Advice Needed

Sorry but I have no idea what a permenant french is.

As for me - I didnt get tips/extensions b/c I didnt want to have to deal with the maintenence of them on my honeymoon plus I find them to be too artificial sometimes. I got a french a day before the wedding on my short nails and that was enough for me.

Re: Wedding Day Nail Advice Needed

I had the acrylic tips for the wedding. They air brushed the french manicure on for the wedding. It lasted really great through the honeymoon. The place was in Bellmore/Merrick. I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but if you are interested forum mail me and I will get it from my sister.

Re: Wedding Day Nail Advice Needed

When the white part is permanentaly on the tip of your nails. However, you can always paint a color over it.

Re: Wedding Day Nail Advice Needed

It's sorta like an acrylic nail. the nail bed part is a pink- they do it was pink powder, like your natural nail, and then they use white powder for the tip- they sculpt them using a grid- meaning they curve more natural than a nail tip or the nail extensions w/ the wraps...

I'm a nail psycho... if I get a chip in my nailpolish, it has to come off right away- but lately, my nails are horrible- so really, I'm looking for the most natural fake nails...

Re: Wedding Day Nail Advice Needed

yeah- you get fill-ins.. but for some reason they have the contour of natural nails.. you know how fake ones can be a little too flat?
