I Found My Favors!!! (w/pics) (updated w/new tag pic)

I'm so super excited -I found a favor that FH and I can live with - wine bottle favors.

Instead of doing labels though (can't stand the thought of peeling off labels) we're doing small tags with our names and weddding date on it

My colors are lavender, cream, and pink but I love the silver bags with the lavender tags- what does everyone think? I can also do the mix of ivory and purple colored bags if silver isn't nice.

Bags are 6 1/2' wide and 11 1/2' to the pull cord with 3' of bag above the cord. They are about 4' in diameter. Hope that this will fit the bottles though.

Edit: I found these tags too- the purple ones with the diamond shape- Idk if they would look right but I can get the same tag in pearl grey to match the bags better if I do the purple and ivory ones.

I found the bags at the link below- it's 10 bags for like $5.00!

The tags I found on a few sites but found them for $36.00 for 20 tags.

Here's the site for the bags- I think I might just do half ivory and half purple and get a neutral tag color. I just love the color contrast between the purple and the ivory.

Wine Bottle Bags

FH said that he'll buy the wine bottles and all I have to do is pay for the tags and bags

OMG I was jumping out of my seat when FH said he loved the idea- we're going to do one per couple (or if they're solo they get one bottle for them).

You ladies think the combo of purple and ivory bags would look nice though? Or just stick to ivory?

I decided against labels - I was going to thread the tag on the string of the bag and let it hang... I think that's just an easier thing to do.

I think they'll look beautiful with 2 color bags. I saw this photo on my photographer's blog...maybe it'll give you an idea what 2 colors will look like:

If your linens are a neutral like ivory or white I think the 2 colors would look great. If you are doing alot of different colors on the table...you might want to stick to one color.

If your linens are a neutral like ivory or white I think the 2 colors would look great. If you are doing alot of different colors on the table...you might want to stick to one color.

Yes the linens will be either ivory or white- another reason why I was thinking two colors.

That's what we plan on doing. I think the ivory and purple will look nice! I'm getting the gold bags.
