Question for Those Taking Pictures Before Ceremony........

Who are you including in these photos? Is it just you and hubby and bridal party? Or are you asking your family members to be there too? I'm planning on taking pictures from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and am wondering if I should ask everyone to be there or just the bridal party. Any suggestions would be great!!! Thanks

Re: Question for Those Taking Pictures Before Ceremony........

Before our ceremony we did all formal posed pictures. So that meant bridal party and families. (We did the extended family last so they wouldn't have to be there too early.) I HIGHLY recommend getting your family there early if you want portraits done. Chasing people out of the cocktail hour is no fun!

Yes, I will have parents and other family as well but I will also ask them to come towards the end of the session.

Re: Question for Those Taking Pictures Before Ceremony........

Our wedding ceremony begins at 7:30.... Formal pics before- family first and then bridal party could arrive towards the end but you don't want them standing around you know?

Re: Question for Those Taking Pictures Before Ceremony........

We're doing just ourselves for an hour and a half at Grand Central and then another hour before cocktail hour with the bridal party.

I originally scheduled 45 minutes with FH and myself and then 45 minutes with my bridal party at Grand Central but then I was told that it wasn't enough time...

Re: Question for Those Taking Pictures Before Ceremony........

We'll have our bridal party & immediate family (of course, our siblings are in the wedding party, so its really only our parents in addition). We'll have a few more formal portaits to do with our grandparents & aunts & uncles, etc. during the cocktail hour.

Re: Question for Those Taking Pictures Before Ceremony........

We are just doing the bridal party, we are going to westbury gardens and I hope to get the bridal pics out of the way so that they can enjoy cocktail hour after the church rather then worrying about pics!

Re: Question for Those Taking Pictures Before Ceremony........

We did just the bridal party and us, but we also had time in between church and reception and had the families meet so no one would be taken out of cocktail hour. If you don't have time in between, I would have the families as well. I have to say, it was so nice to have all the formal pics done b4 the cocktail hour so we all had a chance to enjoy it.

Re: Question for Those Taking Pictures Before Ceremony........

We are doing all the BP toghether at one location, and then family at the reception hall. The ceremony is at the hall, and hopefully the majority of formal pictures will be taken before the ceremony. We are going straight to the cocktail hour
