Cocktail Hour Music - Different ideas?

I wanted a steel drum band at my cocktail hour because its fun and different, but my brother is getting married 4 months before me and they decided to do the same thing (they didn't know i was thiniking of doing that). So what are some other fun ideas for the cocktail hour?

Re: Cocktail Hour Music - Different ideas?

If you're a fan of Billy Joel, there is a 'cover' band called Big Shot. I've heard they do cocktails hours for weddings. They are amazing. www.bigshottribute.com It think this is the right web address.

Re: Cocktail Hour Music - Different ideas?

I don't know if you're into this or not, but my friend had a strolling guitarist at her wedding. It had sort of a Latin feel to it and her and the groom had met in Ecuador so it was perfect. And very unique.
