looking for a bridal shower place
My best friend is getting married in September and I wanted to know if anyone knows a good place for her shower on LI? Not too expensive, please. Thanks!

Re: looking for a bridal shower place
What type of food/places were you looking for? I have a whole bunch of info saved from when I threw my sister's shower in November. How much did you want to spend?

Re: looking for a bridal shower place
We wanted to do it on a sunday. We thought of a brunch thing. I guess American or Italian. We didn't want to spend alot, because it's only the MOH and myself who are throwing it. One bridesmaid has no money, one is 17, and she and another bridesmaid don't think the bridesmaids are supposed to throw the shower, (they think the MOH and MOB are supposed to do it), so they aren't helping. So we wanted to keep the price down as much as we can. Any suggestions you have are greatly appreciated!

Re: looking for a bridal shower place
Cafe Spasso is under $30pp, and so is Baci both on Old Country Road in Westbury. We had my sisters in this rustic place call the Jolly Swagman Inn in Hicksville. From the outside it looks just like a house, but the entire upstairs is a partyroom with a fireplace. My sister 'DAWNIE' checks out this sight, so if you want to, you can FM me and I will give you the prices and the rest of the info. And lastly, for about $15.00 a person, there is this place THE BOLD O'DONOGHUES in East Rockaway. It's a pub with a nice sized party room... Good luck!!!

Re: looking for a bridal shower place
I noticed in Fridays paper that Shishkebab in the Fortunoff mall has a bunch for 9.95 a person , I do not know if there prices will go up.(U might want to give them a call) The Bonwit INN in Commack is 20- 24 dolars it depends if u take the room , or how about The Smithville Cafe in Bellmore? Hope this helps.
