Ring Engraving ideas....what do you think?

FH just sent me an email with some ring engraving ideas:

(FH) I love you and that's forever...
(me) ...just the way you are, 6-7-08

(FH) Blue eyed boy meets a brown eyed girl
(me) The sweetest thing, 6-7-08

(FH) -up to you...- (I would need to think of something hehe)
(me) my baby forever, 6-7-08

what do you think? how much can I really fit on mine? It has stones on the top only...

they're all very sweet....jut remember, too much and it might be hard to read....

i say go for the most meaningful...i always try and think long term....like when I pass on the ring to my daughter (hopefully), will she appreciate it?/understand it?...just my 2 cents...

yeah I know, that's the tough part....well the first 2 are song references obviously, and the first one is a reference to our wedding song....second one, just a song that we have some memories attached to, even though the rest of the lyrics aren't totally positive!

I feel like the last one, which was his first idea, is just too generic....but I don't want to say that and offend him....

FH and I have regular bands and not much can fit in there- we ended up just putting our names and wedding date in them.

I would go for the most meaningful- also maybe put two diffrent things that mean something to both of you for the others ring (I hope that came out right ..lol)

i like the first one!! i see that's your wedding song...that's what me and FH are doing, our song is called 'the luckiest' so we're both getting that engraved.

My ring is a 4 and i can onlyh fit the date...for FH i wanted it to say 'to my best friend now and forever' and they said he would need a size 15 ring! so I am back to square 1...

Those are some good ideas though. I love Just the way you are is great!

uhoh....yeah mine is only a 6, so a little bit bigger but not much! Maybe I can shift the date to FH's and just do 'Just the way you are' on mine....I mean I could shorten it to Just the Way U R haha but I hate that kind of stuff....

does your band have stones in it as well? the jeweler was not very specific when we asked how much could fit!

I know, you're right, but somehow this helps me think about it myself....also, it's good to hear ideas on how much might actually be able to fit on there!!
