I think my sister is starting to plan my shower....

My sister is supposedly going to'look' at places for my aunts 35th wedding anniversary tonight. But she is acting really weird. The wedding is 14 months away, but she told me to make her a list of people I would want to invite for a shower. At her shower I did it about 6 months before and started to plan it about 10 months before just to catch her off guard. I think I smell a 'rat'...... Opinions girls?

If you want to be surprised, don't ask my opinion!! LOL! Honestly, I'm the hardest person to surprise when it comes to anyone but my father. I already told my mother, if you have my shower at the Knights I will know so don't do it - and I know you're going to try and catch me off guard and throw it 6 mos. early - then she called my MOH and said we can't do it 6 mos. early, she knows!

Therefore, I DEFINITELY think your sister is planning your shower now!!

All showers coincide with a 30th, 40th, or 50th anniversary or birthday!

If you want to be surprised let it go. I think the surprise is the best part about it! Your sister is ahead of the game.

My mom starting buying the game giveaways! And she decides to show me all these things as if I want to know!

HELLO can I be surprised about everything?!?! Sheesh!

My sister-in-law had hers 3 months before her wedding. The wedding was at the end of November and the shower was in the beginning of August so it felt like it was too early. But I think it is sweet if they are trying to surprise you. I am never surprised and already foiled the plan of my mom and my godmother. My dad's birthday is in May so my mom chimed in one day that she was going to have a 'huge' party for him. Yeahhhhh.... Right.... *WInk Wink*
