Limo Rant!!! Long SORRY

Ok so i thought i had our limo booked but it turns out i dont think so anymore.

The thing is we were using a friend of a friend. I have used him before for little things. Now i contacted him in December telling him i want to use him for the wedding. (he gives me AMAZING prices). I told him we want a Party Bus to hold about 30 people and 2-3 extra limos. Now his company isnt that big since he just started out. So he doesnt have a bus but he said he would contact his friend and get me a price and then we would also go over the prices for the 3 limos i would be renting from him. He was suppose to call me back a few days later. I never heard from him, so i called him. He said he didnt have any info and he would call me the 1st week ok Januray. Ok so the 1st week of jan comes and goes. Then the 2nd week. By the 3rd week i figured i would call again... Maybe he forget or is really busy. So i called and got his voice mail. Totally left him a nice message to get back to me. Well a week later nothing still. I called him again and got the voice mail again. So i left another message.. Still nothin, So about 2 weeks ago i left him another message. He called back a few hours later and said he was at work and he would call me later that night to go over everything. Guess what he NEVER called me back. So now i called him on friday, He picked up and said he would call me back around 5-6pm. Never got anything... So now i'm pissed. He calls me today and tells me the prices from his friend for the bus and i think the price was NUTS!!!!! I told him i would want to look at the bus before i book. He didnt have his friends # on him but would callme back in a hour to give it to me. So now its 4 hours later NOTHING!!! My thing is... if i do happen to book with him, is he even going to show up?? I dont like people giving me the run around.... i've had to hunt him down and he couldnt even give me the respect of a phone call half the time. I know people get busy but just say hey i dont have the quotes yet i'll call u as soon as i do. ANYWAYS who are u using and how are there prices. I just have a bad feeling about booking with this guy and i'm really thinking of going elsewhere... What do u Ladies think?? am i crazy???

Not sure where you are but i booked with Royalty Limousine & they were excellent & very accomodating to our needs. The owner actually saved us money by telling us we didnt need as many cars as i thought. They are located in Franklin Sq. and they are a huge company so they can supply everything you may need.

Hey Jackie!!! WOW ... what drama!!! Personally I don't deal well with chasing people so after he did not return the second call I would have moved on ... Now you have called him like a dozen times ... I think you should move on. And if and when he asks why I would simply tell him the truth. Not for nothing but as brides we have enough to worry about and as the vendors you are supposed to make sure we have nothing to worry about.

I know there is one company that every brides said stay away, I think M&V or something. Let me find out. But I am not that far so I don't know too much yet, all I know is Chris has these impossible limo requests which I said were not worth it, but thats my only limo battle right now

Hi Jackie,
I have to agree with Kristi Ann. There's no way I would book with this guy. If he's treating you that way before you even book with him, think of how he'll treat you after he has your money!! I met with Regal Limousines and they seemed very nice and accomodating. They are recommended by my RH. I also got a very detailed price quote from them on the Vendors helping Brides section of the forums. I would put out a post on there just asking for some quotes. I know Regal Limousines gives actual price quotes through FM. Good Luck!

I would have to agree with the ladies, definately wouldnt book with them. the last thing you want to worry about is your limo not showing up the say of your wedding.

Hey... Thank u all so much!!! Honestly i had a bad feeling about booking with him and now hearing everything u all said i'm def not going to book with him. So the limo hunt begins.....

move on...this guy seems to be unreliable, you dont want to end up live the mtv staten island wedding guy screaming in the street on your wedding day b/c your limo isnt there!! go with someone more established and reliable.
