What 'little touches' are you adding to your wedding?

Or would you like to add. I have seen so many cute ideas in at other weddings and in magazines! Thought we could start a thread with all of those ideas. I will start:

My friend had such great touches. Her cake topper was bobble heads of her and her husband. Her table numbers were pictures of her dog in a tux!

Re: What 'little touches' are you adding to your wedding?

I am doing daisies and having all my Cps different at each table, having a few pooh things and hopefully have my table numbers with my puppies dresses in a tux and dress. FH isnt too fond of the last idea but, I'll do it anyway if the outifts arent that expensive. My brain isnt working to its fullest right now but, I want to say there is something else. I need sleep!!!

**** Unity candle, making myself, memory candle as well. Making my own cardbox, mailbox. My own invitations and matching programs.

Re: What 'little touches' are you adding to your wedding?

Well i'm not doing this but for a winter wedding one of our neighbors had santa clause come and give out the favors to each couple. The women were on the nice list and the men were on the naughty list. They wrapped the favors up like christmas presents and gave ornaments.

Re: What 'little touches' are you adding to your wedding?

After the quote of the day started yesterday, I've been thinking of having different love quotes with the table numbers. I love quotes! Freshman year of college I printed out hundreds of different quotes and posted them all over my room lol.

I would like to do Bathroom Baskets and OOT bags. Not sure what else..

Oh yeah... DIY monogrammed cake topper and We Do letters...

I'm going to try to make my placecard holders out of wine bottle corks that I have my entire family collecting Not like anyone really needs a reason to drink wine though We are doing a wine theme so this should fit perfectly!

Re: What 'little touches' are you adding to your wedding?

I am going to try and include as many family members as I can.

So far (besides the norm):

Eucharistic Ministers- Aunt & Uncle who already do this at my church

Ceremony Music: FH's Aunt and Uncle are choir directors at their church, she will sing and he is going to play the organ

Blessing before we eat: I would like FH's uncle to say grace before dinner. He is a minister and always has the best toasts.

I know it sounds like we are a very religious family and we are not but since these people are I figured it was a great way to include them and make it special.

Monograms/other Details: one of closet friends is a graphic designer for Sotheby's she has offered to design programs, monogram, and other things

And then, well, I am looking on here for ideas!!!

we're doing this too - our wedding is at Vineyard Caterers and I saw another bride did it. when i saw her photos of it i was amazed and i was sure i wanted to do it. i wasn't sure if she had bought them or not but when she told me she collected them and did them herself, i was amazed and very motivated to do the same thing!!!

i'd love them!!! in the spring we were going to go around to different wineries and hear they're more than willing to give them away by the hundreds. but the more i have, the better, because i'm sure i'll have to sift through them for the ones that are completely in tact!!
