Things I have learned to live with since I started planning this wedding
1) Not everyone shares my happiness, some people are down right mean and envious( $crew 'em )
2) It's ridiculous to have a budget. It only works if it's a large budget or one is anal retentive.
3) Everything costs more when you are getting married.
4) My mom wants to wear white to our wedding.
( I really don't care but other people do, I wish they would shut up)
5) My FH leaving his mother is equivalent to a divorce.
6) I now know what a bustle is.
7) Just because it costs more, doesn't mean it classier
8) No matter how much weight I lose I will never be happy with how I look in my dress
9) Everyone I know wants to come to our wedding. But why?
10) People who have had a reception think their recpetion was perfect. Maybe I will too!

Those are my favorites!!!
1) So what if all i talk about from time to time is the wedding. This is supposed to be the happiest time of my life, let me enjoy it!
2)I never really set a budget. I set up one on here and the knot. But their calculations made no sense to me. I just tried to get the most for my money with vendors.
3) I've been dieting and exercising like crazy recently. Weight has been a struggle my entire life so i dont think I'll ever understand true self esteem.

I can answer that from my perspective:
Because almost always, the prospective bride and groom disagree on the most ridiculous things
like FAVORS!! #$%^&*(%%^&*

you're right! I don't understand why I have to be careful not to talk too much about our wedding to others, and consider their feelings. I can't remember the last time someone considered my right to be excited!

my FMIL and yours should get together
i am sure my FMIL would either bore her to tears with her monotonous banter or talk religion and politics and get it all heated!
I am a democrat and she is a die hard, Bush lovin' member of the GOP republican!

Re: Things I have learned to live with since I started planning this wedding
VERY TRUE!!I would only add that everyone who's booked a wedding vendor insists that their vendor is the absolute best (I just nod in agreement to get them to stop talking about their vendor...there are plenty of great vendors out there)
