Re: Teeth Whitener anyone?

I used crest white stripes & they really worked ! I used them a few months before the wedding to test it then again 2 weeks before and they worked good. The only thing was that my gums started to hurt after the 4th or 5th day. They became so sensitive & were kind of throbbing. Maybe it was just me. I think it was still worth it

They were $30 but they have coupons for them all over. Look in the newspaper or magazines

Re: Teeth Whitener anyone?

I really recommend the Crest whitestrips-- if you do the whole box you will be amazed by the results-- just stick with it-- its about $20-$40 depending on which one you buy--

My experience exactly I have used them for years!!!
I found that brushing w/ baking soda (right from the box) or sensodine toothpaste helps to lessen the sensitivity.

Re: Teeth Whitener anyone?

The whitening toothpastes do work with patience.

If you are worried about pics...your photographer can whiten your teeth a shade. It's much cheaper, safer & faster than your other options.

Re: Teeth Whitener anyone?

i wanted to have it professionally done....but im not a smoker or coffee drinker so my dentist told me i wouldnt have dramatic results. so what i did was used the listerine pre brush whitening mouth wash, brushed with the crest vivid white tooth paste and then when it got to be closer to the wedding i used the 10 day crest white strips-hth

Re: Teeth Whitener anyone?

My dentist said Crest White Strips...apparently they're the best and there's even a type that a lot of dentists sell that's better than you can get in the store.

I'd ask your dentist or hygenist about it. That's how I learned that Plax doesn't do anything.

Re: Teeth Whitener anyone?

brushing with peroxide is probably the cheapest way to go. it takes a while, but does really work and is great for maintenance after you've gotten them whitened in another way. just brush your teeth normally with toothpaste, then follow it up by brushing with peroxide.
