Any STay at Home Moms In Suffolk ?
Boy -- who said being a stay at home Mom was easy ? Anyone else finding it lonely and very trying at time? I love my son dearly -- but I also miss working and feeling like I had a life outside my house.... I have joined some clubs that are GREAT and are helping-- but I 'd love to meet other moms who live in my area-- Ronkonkoma??

Im a SAHM and I have the same feelings as you. I NEED ADULT CONTACT. I feel like I bombard FH when he gets home at night. I wait for the mail lady to come during the day to say HI to her. Sad I know
I live in Riverhead. I will actually be in Ronkonkoma tonight (going to see my aunt). We should get together... somewhere in the middle. How old is your son? Emma is 7 months old (tomorrow). How time is FLYING!!

I am a SAHM right now, but hoping to go back to work this year some time. We are moving to St. James next month, so I'll be in Suffolk soon enough!

Claud-St.James is so nice. My mom and step-dad live there. And my mom works in a hair salon there

Dani - do you have a salon recommendation for me? I'm going to need a new stylist/colorist...my current is in East Meadow, and I'll occasionally still use her, but it's not practical to go all the way back to Nassau every single month!

Re: Any STay at Home Moms In Suffolk ?
I just posted about a moms group I just joined here in Suffolk. Look at the thread called 'moms group in Queens' and I posted their website there.I will let you know when the next meeting is. Its a great club, there are over 30 moms with 1 or several kids, and they have all sorts of outings almost every day of the week (we only go to the ones we choose to go to !) and fees are only $20 for the year ! Next week is moms nite out for dinner and drinks
Id love to ge ttogether if any of you decide to !
In the meantime, let me know if you want more info on the next meeting for this moms club.

Re: Any STay at Home Moms In Suffolk ?
Speaking of which, Jenn, I want to go to your hair person, I LOVEE how your hair come out. I cant seem to explain that cut to anyone. that layered look yet, its a nice trendy look. Last month I highlighted and cut my hair, and Im not happy with neither..
I dont hate it, but i dont love it
... My problem is I can never explain what i want to them, and i explain it wrong..but I like that layred look you have, my sis has that cut also..LOVE IT !but im going to wait a few month, to let this grow out a little....

I love your hair Anna!! But, I SO understand not being able to verbalize what you want in a haircut. If you want my stylist's name and #, let me know.
