Question about the sunset time
We're getting married November 29. The sun sets at 4:30. How long after is there still some light? My concern is pictures afterwards. Plus, i didnt think of this before, but when we booked CLM, I loved teh idea of pictures on the dock. But now i'm thinking by 7 it'll be pitch black, right? I have this crazy idea in my head of pushing up the time. I dont even want to mention that to FH

Re: Question about the sunset time
i'm getting married Nov 7th and the sunsets at 4:45..my ceremony is at 330pm. My photographer said that i'm going to basically have like no daylight for pics, but he said its not a problem cause they can work with that, so i can still have pics outside the church (they have lots of lights!) and i'm going to take some more at the RH inside and possibly out. Which i'd like to cause NRC has pretty grounds to take pics at!i didnt want to make the ceremony earlier cause i'd have a million hours in between the church and CH...

Re: Question about the sunset time
I thought when the sun actually sets is when dayligt is gone. Since you have the entire morning, try squeezing in pictures before the ceremony. The only drawback with that, is that your FH will see you in your gown before the ceremony.

Oh maybe I have the meaning all wrong
I definitely dont want to do that. Ive thought about it, but I've always envisioned seeing FH for the first time as I walk down the aisle

Re: Question about the sunset time
part of why I wanted an afternoon wedding was because I love daylight and sunshine etc -- plus I think my BM dresses look nice when the sun hits.I think you only have about 30 minutes after sunset before it's completely dark. AKAMrsT (i think that is her name) has gorgeous night pictures though - you should check them out! photograpers deal with this all the time and you should still get great shots

Thanks so much for googling!
That does help. Hopefully we can get some local pictures taken before it gets dark. Welcome New Vendors
