Hi Mary...I think the dress is really pretty. I really think it is perfect for the time of year and for the beachy wedding theme!!! It is the color I know that you were looking for and I am sure you will be beautiful!!!! Doesn't it feel good to finally make the dress decision....no more shopping !!!

Hi Mary, the dress is beautiful. You could do silver shoes and bag and then you could wear it again if you need to. I was so relieved when I finally got my dress. It is hanging on my door now and I have a very dressy black tie wedding to go to in july and will wear it again. Feel good. Susan

Hi, Kathy!!!! It's always a joy to see your name on here as well as that sweet puppy's face!!! Thank you! Yes, while it is nice to be finished looking, and I can't change now because the dress is being altered, it's not really what I wanted. The color is ok, but I didn't want a strap dress, or a jacket, and it's not a gown, but I had to get something quick, since time is moving quickly. Truthfully, I'm disappointed , but oh well. I do have to get shoes, purse, and jewelry. How are you doing?? Mary

Thank you, Susan!!! I don't think I'll ever wear it again. We never go places requiring this type of dress. My Husband won't even go to fancy restaurants, because he doesn't feel comfortable. When I was a little girl, I thought of someday going to the ballet, and other beautiful places, but the man I married is not into such things. Wadda ya going to do?? Mary MOB

Mary, I agree you should do silver shoes and bag and it is great with the beach and with CLM being right on the water it is perfect. You will be beautiful!!!!

Mary,
I love the color! Although you say you won't wear the dress again, many of us are in the same boat. I didn't know whether to get a long or short dress, but I think the moms convinced to to get a long one as it is a day to feel special. I'm sure I won't be wearing mine again either (I haven't even begun shopping for yet!!).
Silver shoes/bags/jewelry would look beautiful with it.

Hi, Kathy!! How are you? Thanks!! The day I tried it on, I don't think I noticed that it didn't go all the way to the floor; I think I would have preferred a gown. But, it was tough finding an aqua anything in the size and fit I needed. What's new? Mary

Nothing too much is new. Getting ready to fly to Florida for the Easter break. Anyone else have plans? I came down with a cold so I'm hoping I'll be fine by next weekend. Glad to hear you're okay, Mary, with the melanoma scare. My mom had it about 10 years ago and gave us quite a fright. Luckily, she came out of it fine (minus a pretty big chunk cut out of her leg) and is doing wonderfully at soon-to-be 84.

Hi, Kathy!!! Wow, Florida!!! So, nice!!! Happy your Mom is ok!! My Mom, who's 80, has her cardiac appt. Mon. to be given the results of her stress test. But, since she already had her family Dr. checkup, we know the report said no blockages!! So, thank THE LORD!! Debi and Fred are on their way toward you guys! Appts. with CLM, April Flowers and Black Forest Bakery. She doesn't have her CLM appt. until Sunday, at 3:00, and after that she has to hop a train home, because Fred needs to stay in NY, on business. She stopped by their townhouse they plan to move into, on May 1st. She's so excited!!! She wants me to help her plant flowers. The management must be pretty amicable, because they said Fred could even plant tomatoes!!!! Probably not out in the front yard!! I asked Deb if I should get her boxes to begin packing. She's not quite ready, yet. The current management where she lives now, wants to visit her apt. as well as Fred's, before they move,to see what needs to be done to prepare for new tenants. Well, Debi asked for some time, to prepare for their visit, as she's getting married, and has stuff all over the place!! Because of her job and the wedding, she has no time to do house chores. Her place isn't dirty, but cluttered!! It's a small garden apt. Fred, like any normal guy, thought some of his college furnishings would pass the Debi test, and could be moved into the new honeymoon cottage. Don't think so, babe!! I suggested Debi give him his own space, to decorate as he saw fit, but even though he gets one of the extra bedrooms, for an office, Debi said SHE was going to decorate it!!!!! I'm glad they plan to start church pre-marital classes soon!! I think they better discuss this decorating issue!!!
Mom needed to go to Dollar General,
today, and what do you think I found?? All kinds of cool beachy candles!! All kinds!! I bought a bunch for shower prizes. I only have to buy a few things for the shower centerpieces yet.
Think I'll see what Grandson is into. Toodles!!! Mary

Hi Mary, Give Deb my congrats on her new apartment. It is so exciting to be decorating a new place. Smart call to tell her to give Fred his own space..this way hopefully he'll keep the rest of the house neat and just clutter up that room.
