Calligraphy class

My daughter had told me that she was going to address her invitations herself and I thought I better do something! (The only thing worse would be for her FH to do it as he's a doctor and you can't even begin to decipher what he writes!) I took a 2 hour class at the Michael's Craft Store by me which was totally a waste as you can't even begin to learn it in that short a time.
Well, my local high school had an adult ed class for 8 weeks (2 hours a class) and I signed up. I went to my second class last night and I am really excited. We've only learned 11 letters so far, but I'm really impressed with how we're all doing. I'm a teacher so luckily I'll have the summer off to address those invitation envelopes!

You should see if a local school ever gives a class. It's really lots of fun--takes your mind off of anything and everything else.

Re: Calligraphy class

I give you a lot of credit Kathy because I wouldn't even think of doing that. I am very good at saying that is what the professionals are for (to do the work for you), but more power to you, you are the better person. Have fun!!!
