WE HEARD THE HEARTBEAT!! LOUD & CLEAR

WE HEARD THE HEARTBEAT!! LOUD & CLEAR

It was amazing! last night was the first time I actually heard my little peanut's heart beating away...at first she was fishing around my tummy and couldn't find one (probably due to the fat

) and as I was laying there I was watching my husband's face and it went WHITE for half a second and he scared the $hit out of me and a half second later you can hear the joyful sound of the baby's heart.

She didn't do a sonogram because I had two previous ones and she didn't think it was necessary, I go for my level 2 sonogram in about 5 weeks! just wanted to share...it is so darn amazing!!!

That IS amazing!!! It's the best feeling isn't it?? I heard the HB at 9 1/2 weeks b/c I had spotting. I was so scared that the baby wasn't alive, DH wasn't with me, b/c it was a last minute emergency appointment. It was also very emotional when I did hear it, I couldn't stop crying and the technician kept losing it and told me to stay still.

CONGRATS!!!

When I was prego I rented a doppler from BabyBeat.com. It was $25 a month with every 3rd month free. I listened to her heart beating away all the time. Something to look into if you are interested.

Just wait till you can feel those little kicks!!! It just gets better. Im so happy for you!!!

Yippee! Isn't that the neatest thing. And just you wait, the kicking is even more amazing! I am at 27 weeks now and I can already tell I'm going to miss this once my baby comes out!

I didnt look at the purchase price. I dont really remember. I know I had it for 4 months so it was $75 and worth every penny!! I have her heartbeat on the video camera for when shes older she can watch and listen.

What a wonderful feeling (and sound!!)!!! I heard it at 12 weeks and my eyes teared up, too!!!

Enjoy this time, it keeps getting better!!

P.S. I've thought about renting a doppler, but I'm afraid I'll turn into a neurotic mess!!! My DH talked me out of it!!

Yeah that is so awesome!!!! I can't wait to hear my babies heartbeat!!! When do they usually do this? I was so overwhelmed to find out I was Pregnant I forgot to ask so many questions.

Stacey you can begin to hear the heart beat around 10-12 weeks. I found out I was prego @ 3 weeks. Had my internal sono at 7 weeks 4 days and heard the heartbeat at 11 weeks.

It is really the coolest thing ever!!
