Okay Moms I need you again

This time it is Gary, my husband, he has been having tightness in his chest with some pain so the doctor is sending him for a stress test today. His appointment is for 10:30 AM and I have a strong feeling he will need an angiogram.
Please ladies say a prayer!

Thanks, this is amazing two in one year or I should say a matter of months.
I'll tell you...sometimes men are soooo stupid because apparently he has been havng these pains for about two weeks but never told me. Finally on Thursday he thought he should say something and we went to our doctor on Saturday. Why do men act this way? Then they wonder why women live longer....it's because we take care of ourselves!!!!!

Thanks, this is amazing two in one year or I should say a matter of months.
I'll tell you...sometimes men are soooo stupid because apparently he has been havng these pains for about two weeks but never told me. Finally on Thursday he thought he should say something and we went to our doctor on Saturday. Why do men act this way? Then they wonder why women live longer....it's because we take care of ourselves!!!!!

Oh Liz! You must be a wreck! I've been through this (twice) so I know what it's like. My Husband has 6 stents and he's always worried when he goes for his checkups. You and your hubby will be in my prayers.

Hi Girls - well the stress test is over and the immediate results are not too bad. As of now he was told that there are no major blockages and that it may be his blood pressure. He will have to wait for his doctor to get all the results to find out if there are any minor blockages.....hopefully he will get those results tomorrow or the latest on Thursday. If there aren't any then I guess he will have to have additional tests to find out why he was having the pressure and pain. I heard it could be acid reflux too.

Hi, Liz!!!!! Well, I'm on the phone with her right now!!! Praise THE LORD!!!!!!! No pain anywhere!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday, Ben went to get his teeth pulled. He continues to have breaking teeth, which I think is from his radiation seeds for prostate cancer. He felt well enough to work today, and we also went to pick up our copies of Debi and Fred's e-pics, yesterday. They had them taken close to York, Pa., which is a nice drive from Lancaster. Fred got to San Diego safely. He's working there this week. TTYS!!!!!!! Mary

Yes, so far it sounds good, but we have to wait until the doctor has the 'official' full report...then we will know everything. The imagining people aren't allowed to tell you too much, but at least they didn't panic and send him immediately for an angiogran/plasty. We'll let you know when we speak with the doctor which should be tomorrow or Thursday.

Sorry to hear of your upsetting week! I am glad that initially they did not send him off for angio. I am assuming they did a nuclear stress test...they do show alot of good diagnostic pictures. People always underestimate the seriousness of chest pain..discomfort etc. Today heart attacks are so preventable with all the availability of good screening. Men and woman ignore the signs...I can't even blame the male sex on this one. Thank God he fessed up and went for a consult. Alot of people feel they are being an alarmist if they seek advise...once the heart attack happens...too late the muscle damage is done! I will keep him in my prayers!

Yes, they did the nuclear stress test...they injected the dye and everything. I was glad that they didn't send him for the angio right away too and that is a good sign. Now we will see what all the results show because you never know there may be a minor blockage too. What they did tell him is that the 'attacks' he has been having could be due to high blood pressure so we will just have to wait and see.

P.S.. Men are just so stupid with these things. I can't believe he wouldn't tell me for two weeks and until he was just too scared. Again that's why we live longer. Think I'll take out a good life insurance policy on him
