2009 Bridal Shower Invite UPDATE*

Hi Ladies,

Ok so seems like many of us are excited about having a 2009 Bridal shower. According to the poll- August seemed best for most ( I know not all)

So how does 8/23 sound? We know this will not work for all but will any date?

Place is TBD as is time so ideas and suggestions are welcomed.

Please RSVP about 8/23 by May 31, 2008

We'll update this thread each week to see how we're doing guestwise and with info about place once we get some more ideas and who can do what to make it a great bridal shower for all of us 2009 brides.

We will also have to collect $$ prior

FM if coming and provide me with email address if you are ok with doing so and more formal evite to follow.

Hope this is ok with all and hoping we can all have a great time at OUR shower

UPDATE 4/4/08:

FM me if you want to join us. Once we have a majority of the rsvps (I have a list with names and email addresses) we will figure out whrere and what committee we can all join to do all that is needed for the shower and an evite will eventually be sent out with payment info too. I think we will keep this as only thread now since it has date, rsvp info nd indicates ina few weeks all will be figured out and we'll divide up repsonsibilities

can we make it the last weekend in august this way most people will be starting to come back from vaca's and stuff...

OK girls...
we know that NO date will work for EVERYONE

and while we would LOVE for everyone to come it would be impossible and we would end up going crazy trying to make it happen. We are planning this WAY in advance and giving everyone lots of time to put it down and save the date SO we hope that everyone that wants to coem can come!! and if we get lots of people saying this weekend is a bad weekend then maybe we will re-think it... I hope everyone can come... please save the date and RSVP!!

nothing it def yet! but some of our ideas include...
a gift swap from our registry ( like a sceret santa type thing) ...good food, good drinks... good games...lots of socializing. I was also thinking of maybe having a GTG at my house or someone elses house afterwards with the FH's where...kinda like a GTG...with drinks!
