dyeables. BTW, who is making your BM's dresses? Do you have a picture? I've never seen garnet dresses just that claret red.

lefkoff---- it is claret red.... I think the designer just calls it garnet red.... ever so slightly darker red.. Thank you though...

I'm actually trying to decide the same thing right now. I have burgandy dresses and we're probably going with black shawls, so I'm thinking black shoes would go very nicely.

I would go with black shoes for your BP. As an extra bonus they wont just wear them once and then throw them away!!

I think dyeables would look better, but I could live with black so my BMs wouldn't have another pair of shoes they will never wear again.

I had the same question about the burgendy bridesmaid dresses I had - even a few of the girls really thought we should go black, but i nthe end we were all so happy we went with dyeables - they do show up in some pictures, and of course are seen walking - so dyables hands down!

If you think dyables will be comfortable (i.e. not scratchy, good fit., etc), then go with them. But otherwise I would choose black. None of the dyables bridal shoes fit me well enough, so I vote for black based on that.

I would vote for black (strappy sandals). Then the girls can wear them again. Personally, I can't stand dyables...but that is JMO.

My BM wore black with the wine colored dresses (I also got them sheer black wraps) and I have worn black with a maroon BM dress.
