What did you guys put in them? Does anyone have any cute booklets of Long Island? like the Newsday, Summer book.?? or a li'l map of the wineries?? Where to find o' where to find

I kind of took the lazy route with the OOT boxes- I was trying to decide if I want to or didn't want to do them since I only had 9 rooms at the hotel - but I decided to do them anyhow. I didn't make them myself since it would have cost me more than I would have wanted to (not just money but time-wise as well).

I ordered ours from Wrap It Up Gift Boxes and they were reasonably priced and also fast on the shipping- took only 4 days for me to get them!

Here are pics from my album of what they looked like- they were filled with two small bottles of water, cookies, peanut butter crackers, a candy (either Kisses or M&M's), trail mix, animal crackers, and gummy snacks.

All my OOT guests loved them since the only snacks they can get were in the hotel and they were expensive to buy.

You can order the newsday books from newsday but honestly your hotel should be able to provide you with the little maps, etc. for your area. You can also check with your local chamber of commerce. They always have those items readily available.

I got my gable boxes through buygiftbox.com. I was able to get individual boxes as opposed to buying them in bulkl.
