St. Thomas anyone?
Hi Ladies.... I am looking for feedback on the island of St. Thomas. Thinking of Fisherman's Reef (Marriott). Any thoughts/ feedback? Thanks!

Re: St. Thomas anyone?
Thanks! I LOVE the input from here! We both have spent a good deal of time in the islands apart, so finding one neither of us has been to is a challenge.

Beautiful place! I stopped there on a cruise...one of the best places I have been to (as for islands). If you go...make sure you shop for jewelry! They are known for their great deals!

Re: St. Thomas anyone?
I also stopped there on a cruise and it was the most beautiful island we stopped at. We took an island tour up to their highest point; the view is just breathtaking. FH also went shopping for and bought his pinky bling there. Then we just hung out and had drinks on a beach for the rest of the time. I'm pretty sure it was Emerald Beach. The water was so calm and clean. I had heard of one beach to the north east that gets really crowded with cruise-goers and those guys selling stuff on the beach. But I'm sure wherever you go on the island will be wonderful.

Re: St. Thomas anyone?
St Thomas is nice but if you are looking for quiet out of the way islands try either St John or VIrgin Gorda. They are absolutely beautiful and they aren't as populated as St Thomas (to me going to St Thomas is just like going to the Bahamas or any ordinary caribbean island)

Its an absolutly beautiful island! Make sure you go to Paradise Point (top of the island) and have a Bushwacker!- Check out Mageans Bay (it was rated one of the top 10 beaches) and Emerald Beach was great too!

St Thomas is beautiful. If you go, you must have dinner at Agave. It is my favorite restaurant there.

dh and i went for 2 weeks for our honeymoon. one week on st thomas one on st john, it was absolutely heaveanly! all the beaches are amazing and yes, st thomas is more populated.we stayed at pavillions and pools on st thomas where there are only a few pavillions, each with its own private pool (i can't tell you how nice and ROMANTIC that is!!!!) and they are allowed to use the beach next door to them sapphire beach which had incredible snorkeling.

we're going there in January for our honeymoon but my grandfather is letting us use his timeshare which is the Elysian Beach Resort. I have heard nothing but good things about St. Thomas!
