i know my life should be a soap opera...vent, but its different not FI related

i know you all probably think i am nuts and that i have no life besides LIW. But I do! I really do! only its a huge soap opera.

ok so remember way back in the day i made a post about a girl who was mad at me because i didnt ask her to be in my BP but I asked another girl that is in our sorority. (its ok if you dont remember its not really that important)

Well i get an email from her saying so when are we going to meet so we can plan your wedding.

i was like what are you talking about

she wrote, your vendors. remember i am with my friend and we have our one party planning business.

i told her i think i have things under control. i have most of my vendors.

she wrote well so and so is doing all this research for you and you should have waited till you met with us because we can get you deals and she's talking to all these big important people and trying to get you things for your wedding. why did you go and book your videographer and photographer and with us it will save you the running around of planning your wedding. so just sit back and relax and we'll get you the limo, florist and dj.

i got so mad, i wrote back 'I dont ever recall asking for your service. I am pretty capable of planning MY own wedding. And honestly I trust my girls on LIW more then i trust your shady business. If i need your help I will call you'

Do you think I was harsh? I know i am such a soap opera.

Why would this girl take it upon herself to do this?? You never asked her to do anything, so she has no right to say ANYTHING to you about 'You should have waited until you met with us'. What a load of cr*p.

thank you. i guess because I didnt ask her to be a BM she figures she is forcing herself to be involved.

Its the happiest moment in my life, i get BS from vendors, I dont need it from friends.

I wouldn't like it if someone was telling me they would make all MY vendor choices.Who is she?

she's a sorority sister that got mad at me that i asked another sorority sister over her.

She definately needs to get over herself, and FAST. She is going to find herself without friends if she keeps up that sort of cr*p.

Your sorority sister sounds like a 'wedding chaser'
one of those women who is desparate to be a part of anyone's wedding so they latch on to the most recently engaged woman within a mile's radius...makes them feel special...

You did nothing wrong!!! Its YOUR WEDDING - I think its okay if you choose your own vendors!
