Cute/Different places to take bridesmaids for lunch in Nassau County??

I was just looking at SusanS's posts on the 'high tea' in Union Square...is there anything like that on long island or something else that would be different than your typical lunch?

I went to a tea for Michele31 in Stony Brook...it was so lovely! But, it's not in Nassau.

If you want something other than just a tea, you might try Friend of the Farmer in Roslyn...I love the laid back, country feel that restaurant has!

There is a tea shop in Huntington- called Ms havishams Tea Shop or something like that. I have never been---someone wrote about it on this board.

there is a really cute coffee house in Bayshore on main street, can't think of the name-maybe someone here can. There's the Country House in StonyBrook too. Port Jeff also has lots of quaint places.

What about 'Once upon a Moose' in Sea Cliff? They do parties after store hours, but it is small...a 25-28 person max

Milk and Sugar

Milk and Sugar is really unique. I was there once and really enjoyed the experience and the food.

Friends of mine love going there for the smores platter. They bring over a little 'fire' for you with marshmellows, chocolate, graham crackers and sticks and you get to make your own!

On the weekends they have live music at night (jazz and such....or at least they used to).
