Actually, I'm doing ok and don't really have any rants. Things have just been working out. Who knows----that can change at any minute!

Oh I envy you!!!! I have had more problems than I can count on one hand since I got engaged!!

OMG skinny I ENVY you if I could get one thing to go right I might be doing ok.... I now even have to walk by myself my Dad decided he is not oing to give me away and has pulled out financially and not even attending my wedding. He feels that FH an i have been together so long why do we need to get married... We have a 18 yr old daughter and been together a long time... We had decided long ago we did not want marriage until we had finished school had careers and our own home. FH and i are both in our 30's not old.... but Dad doesnt see the point now.

Sometimes I think ...is it all worth it?

On the good side FH family ALL FOR IT!!!

Well on the bright side i seen this coming a mile away and well actually planned on it. My Dad is a CONTROL FREAK. and to tell you the truth my Dad has issues with FH cause FH is a XBOX 360 addict if he is not at work or doing something to the house he is on his 360 gaming. My Dad doesnt see the point.

Of course my Dad has also decided FH paid to much for my wedding ring, well not paid to much bought one that was too over the top. But i didnt want an E-ring so FH got me an awesome wedding ring!! That was another fight (Dad and FH)

FH is from Boston he does things the way he was brought up to do, my Dad is from Ohio two totally differnt words!!!!

We moved 1 1/2 yrs ago from Boston to Ohio.

Then there is the issue that my family (Dad & G-ma) think FH family thinks they are to good for everyone. That is not the case they are GREAT people I Love them to death!!! They just believe i doing things different then my family.

I'm getting married on Sept 12th!!! I haven't had any breakdowns or fits but I am getting a little worried. I have soooo much left to do.

I try to keep positive. I am not saying I haven't had some pretty big hurdles (family problems, booked and paid for two halls etc) but oh well. I still haven't picked out invitations or found an officiant yet. I figure either way, it's my wedding and I will LOVE it. I will be cursing the week before the wedding.

Hi September Brides

I don't think anything regarding this planning has gone right the first time around. My vendors are great but we all have to deal with the free-wielding, fiery wrath of FH.

Aren't they supposed to become pains in the A$& after the wedding. why is mine early?

I need to sign him up for Groomzillas if they ever start casting for that.

Hello September Bride,

I have a lot to say about people not calling or e-mailing back. I have called and talked to people or e-mailed and things seem great and then their gone. This happen with the person making my runner, the officiant, and everyone I am trying to talk to about hair. I had a hair trial last Friday and I hated it! My dad said I looked like I was hanging out at the beach all day. Yes, it is a beach wedding, but really, I don''t need to look so beachy. Why are some of these vendors so rude? Really for the officiant and runner lady, all I wanted was to find out were to send the deposit/payment and now they are not answering my e-mails. What is that about? So, now I am looking for a new officiant, a new person to make my runner and I am still on the hunt for a hair and make-up person. I am going to have a melt down.

Well, I am off to the gym to run my stress off!
