we are going to a totally 80's party and need costume help....

My husband and i are going to an 80's party that we must wear costumes to attend. what shoukld we be???

what a fun idea.
you could be Buttercup and Wesley from Princess Bride or Madonna and Sean Penn. Do you have to go as characters or can you just go as punk rockers? that was always fun for halloween in the 80's. if you're daring enough you could be Princess Leah from Jedi- and wear that sexy costume. (only jedi was in 80's). Smurfs, FLashdance, are just some other ideas. Good Luck n have fun!

That is what we wer going to dofor my Bach. party but now renting a house on Fire Island but my friend got so into it she went on Ebay and got a prom dress form like 1984 for $20.00!

OMG! I love 80's parties! Here's a pic of my fh and I and a friend of mine. lol We had a blast. We want to have another one soon! Definately go to thrift shops! And if you want that bleached denim look, put bleach in a spray bottle and spray the denim. You can go as dark or as light as you want. Good Luck!

I had one for my FH's 30th. So much fun, and you can do it so cheap. Not sure where you live, but find a costume or wig shop, but FH a mullet. We went to Goodwill, and found acid wash z cavariccis, and he wore a kISS shirt....people had the greatest costumes. I was madonna.

Have so much fun..i'm jealous!

Do you have to dress as a character from the 80's, or you just have to dress as a person did in the 80's? If you just have to dress as a regular person in the 80's, then the options are endless. You can wear leggings, big hoop earrngs, crimp your hair, bright colored shirts. For a guy, they can wear converse sneakers, acid washed jeans or parachute pants, anything with a weird/wacky design, denim jackets, etc.
