question:how do you get your annoying neighbors to stfu????

Would you yell at them out the window for being loud outside?

Or simply, let it pass, then BLAST bagpipes out the window in the near future??? (Im desperate and willing to do anything)

They're so fcking annoying I hate them. THey have pekenise dogs that BARK all night long and they scream and yell for no reason. Gotta love the borough of Queens....

I used to call the cops on mine before I moved back home with my parents. Their parents used to leave them home alone all of the time... and they would throw huge parties until 3 - 4 a.m.

i live in a apartment complex so of course im gonna have a lot of noise...sometimes i yell at the window like shut up..or something like it..lol depends in my mood!

i am in Queens too and it's not too bad but the guy upstairs bags a lot late at night so Fh bangs on ceiling and guy aboove gets the hint

yeah that happened a month ago with ANOTHER neighbor( I hate my block)not once but twice I had to scream at them.

WOuld you believe they ended the party at 530 in the morning...fcukers. I have yet to get my revenge on them. Fh threatened to paintball their door hahahaah so bad but come on now!!!!!

our co-op has a lot of elderly residents so not bad at all but we do have a hospital near us that gets deliveries early a.m. so that noise of a big truck backing up can be annoying

i hate my downstairs neighobrs there so freaking loud they blast the tv, play really loud racing video games, and yell alot and sometimes i just step a little heavier when i walk....and oops i dropped the chair!

well at least u guys don't have GROWN men..playing with these stupid remote control cars in the middle of the block..did i mention I live on a corner and cars come speeding around the corner & almost crash into them at least once a week...and they start at about 7...and go till about 2..can't wait until I move

We have a kid next door who is outside alllllllllllll the time... his favorite thing to do is making SUPER loud ambulance noises early Saturday mornings.

I mean I know he's just a kid... but I would prefer not to be woken up to the sounds of WOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO in the morning.

im also in queens and omg the moment i moved out i became 30 years older i would call the cops on the kids smoking weed and driving their motorcycles around the block a 100 times lol

File repeated noise complaints with the city. You can do it by phone. I used to live in the Village - when I first moved into my apartment there was a nice Italian restuarant next door, was quiet by 11pm. Then they closed, and re-opened as a lounge/bar, and they would be horribly noisy until 3-4am! My wall backed up to their top floor lounge area and you could feel the bass of music. I filed so many noise complaints, as did others in my building, that the police kept having to come and do decibel tests and lo and behold a few months later they were shut down!!!!!! (But by then I was moving)

LMAO! i live in queens too but so far my only problem has been a damn BIRD!!!! theres a bird SOMEWHERE on my block that just LOVES to make all kinds of noises at ALL HOURS!!!! and this isnt like a pet bird. its just a bird in the trees! but he makes the most godawful sounds and then he does them in threes!!! like three chirps, then three LONG chirps, then three croons(is that a word?)! lol its HORRIBLE!

My neighbors are the worst. my neighbors live in a basement studio apt with 2 babies. The kids cry 24/7. i understand babies cry but all night long....get out of bed and try to comfort them. Instead the parents are too drunk and lazy to get up.

After dealing with my neighbors i do not feel bad about either complaining to landlord or calling the cops depending on the situation.

hahaha...this is great. FH and I live in NYC in an apt building so there are many, many many times we go through this. Our neighbors are so annoying/noisey, but we have to pick and choose our battles. the girl upstairs we call 'holly heels'
no matter what time or day (we don't think she works) she's walking around in her high heels AND she rearranges her furniture everyday....
FH and I hit the ceiling with a broom and she stops. I have told my landlord on her and he has her under control and I pass notes under her door all the time, but knock on wood she has been good.

the girl next door plays guitar hero ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!! we haven't said anything to her beacuse I locked my self out of our apt and she let me climb through her window through mine....

I thought we were the only one who had crazy neighbors

I would talk to them first about it, give it a little bit of time and if it doesn't get better I would go totally nuts. Yell at them, call the cops, make noise too. Or better yet, when you know they're near by and can hear you open a window and grab FH and make fake REALLY loud sex noises.

HAHAHAHAHA THATS FUNNY.I GUESS WITH PUPS YOU CANT REALLY DO THAT MUCH ABOUT THE BARKING BUT WITH THEM MAYBE IF ITS AT A LATE HOUR YOU COULD ASK THEM TO MAYBE KEEP IT A LITTLE QUITER BECAUSE YOU DO HAV ETO GO TO WORK. I DONT KNOW IF THAT WILL WORK OR MAKE IT WORSE????MAYBE YOU NEED TO SUCK IT UP. LOL
