Most Useless Registry Item

What haven't you used yet? I haven't used our toaster oven...I have no idea why I put it on the registry.

Re: Most Useless Registry Item

Funny, DH and I were talking about this the other day.
We never used our toaster because we have a toaster oven.
Never used our quesadilla maker or the panini grill.

We have YET to use our fine china, but that will change soon once we have more space and family gatherings.

Mandoline. We thought we would rapidly produce thin slices and julienne strips of veggies making our meals look all fancy and stuff, but it only made us both & .

Re: Most Useless Registry Item

electric skillet/grill that DH insisted he'd use (he wanted to make pancakes on them and thinks we'll make use of it when we go camping- we haven't been camping in 3 years!!

we returned our toaster oven- we have a toaster, and I didn't think we'd use it much.

Re: Most Useless Registry Item

KitchenAid Mixer. I hate that I registered for a white one and then 3 months after the wedding bought a house with stainless steel appliances.

Re: Most Useless Registry Item

I haven't used a ton of the stuff that I got from my registry, including:

my 2 Kitchen Aid mixers (yes, 2!)
my toaster oven
my George Foreman Grilleration grill
all my good crystal
all my good dinnerware
all my good sivlerware
my spice rack
tons of drinking glasses that I got

Basically I started using what we didn't have and really needed.....all the rest will have to stay in boxes until we move somewhere where we have more room.

I've used the coffee pot 2x, never used the Panini Maker or the Cusinart Hand Mixer, the blender/food processor, electric knife...the list goes on and on LOL. Hopefully since Summer is coming I will put more of the stuff to use...Especially the blender for Margaritas

MY DH needed to have an espresso machine. I told him to figure out how to use it. Those things seem to complicated and I am not a big fan of espresso!!!
