Wedding Day Coordinator
I'm looking to find a coordinator for the wedding day. I don't need a planner, just someone to make sure everything goes smoothly - i.e. makes sure the limos and coach buses get to the hotel, the reception site is ready when we get there, the photographer has all questions answered, the florist has no problem getting access in the reception site, etc.
It is important I find a person who is extremely organized, diligent but who can stay behind the scenes and maintain calm and composed.
Does anyone know of a day of coordinator? I would really like a specific reccomendation as I think the day will depend on this person being able to control the moving pieces.

i can't give you any names but why not someone in the bridal party that you trust and since they will be with you they can answer any questions anyone may have. our best man is going to be helping me the whole time til the ceremony. at the RH they should have someone to make sure things go smooth there. sorry i can't offer much help but good luck.

i have to say that i had a DOC and WOW - she was a life saver!!!
She handled EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! Tip envelopes, correcting the DJ when he played the wrong song for our cake cutting, she pulled jackets out of NOWHERE when someone in my BP got a chill...(seriously, where did you have that jacket????)...
I used Ryan with Above & Beyond Events. She was AMAZING!!!
We also used her partner Liz for babysitting services....SOOOOOOOOOOO wonderful!!!!

I used Laura from LA Productions. She was a Godsend. I definitely recommend her. She's a vendor on here.

I'm using Christine from Exquisite Affairs (EAP)--LIW Vendor. She's pretty reputable on this site and all of her clients loves her!! First time i met her, I thought she was a doll and well organized.

I am using Jen and Christine from Sassy Swanky Affairs. I have seen Christine in action at a friends wedding....and I can't begin to tell you how impressed I was..... She took care of everything and was so sweet and helpful. They are very reasonable too!! FM me if you want more info.

christine from exquisite affairs production. She also will meet with you beforehand to go over all the details. She sent me a very detailed timeline for the day of my wedding and i was like OH WOW, seriously everything was in there. The time i start make up, the time i start my hair, what time to get dressed. Even when my moh has to start her hair and make up, and every little thing. She has been great and so helpful.

Having a Day of Coordinator is a big help!!!! I am using Gina Griffin from Bleu Diamond Events. They are really nice in there and good prices!!!
