X Post - DIY Pocketfolds...How do you...

Ok I have everything ready and wanted to start putting my pocketfolds together... one problem I bought double sided tape - they come apart - I bought glue dots - they come apart.

What the heck did you girls use to keep them together I simply can't get the pocket to stay up.

I used black Linen card stock.

Did they come apart right away or was it after they 'sat' You have to let the glue cure a little. I used this blue tape runner thing I got at Michaels. I can't remember what it is called, I'll look and repost.

I had a similar problem with our black linen too. Did you try spray mount?

FH cousin owns a frame shop--we used the double sided professional strength mounting tape he uses. It worked much better. I am not sure where you can find that though, maybe you can order a roll on the web?

Re: X Post - DIY Pocketfolds...How do you...

If you used permanent double sided tape it shouldnt come apart. I used it and it was not removable at all. Use the scotch brand

Re: X Post - DIY Pocketfolds...How do you...

I ended up using Quick Dry Adhesive from Scotch and they came out great... actually the invite & cards are all done I have to put the ribbon on them now but I am waiting for the stupid invisible marker to come so i can number the RSVP cards then finish them off.
