Re: Must see/go in Aruba!..

Ooh you MUST go to Madame Janettes!!!

That is THE most romantic rest. on the island!! Ask to sit in the garden and request Rick for a server, he;s the BEST!!!....don't miss the almond grouper or the shrimp -- better than ive had in nyc rests.

Here's my trip review from Trip Advisor which is v. detailed::

that lists our 5 rest's we went to, activities & money savers

def go to the natural pool !!!

FM if you'd like more info

Re: Must see/go in Aruba!..

we just got back... here's the places we went.

Food-
Night 1-Room service- Radisson hotel.

Night 2- El Gaucho (argentian grill)-excellent food and service. delicious side dishes- esp. the plantains!!! Nice cigar bar affliated with it across the street.

Night 3- Texas de' Brazil- grill where the waiters bring all types of meat around to your tables. Good food-but more chain-like restaurant. Located in high rise section.

Night 3- Papiamiento- EXECELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE- my favorite meal of the trip- all kinds of food options- meat, fish, pasta. Quiet atmosphere, outdoor seating. We sat at tables around the pool. Highly recommend this!!!!

Night 4- Madam Jeanette- Great atmosphere, good food, large portions, but slow (although friendly) service. Outdoor seating.

Night 5- Sunset Grill- steaki & fish located in the Radisson hotel. Good food, somewhat pricey.

We recommend renting a jeep and going off roading. You'll see some great sites- natural bridge (or what's left of it), ruins, dunes, national park, beaches, etc. It's so much fun to rent your own jeep and explore on your own. I think cost us around $200 for 3 days.

Make sure to hit baby beach... beautiful smaller beach on south east side of the island.

Great jewerly in Orjanstaad....

The sopranos bar is a relaxing place to have a few drinks and listen to some good, live entertainment.

If your into scuba diving or just want to try it, we did the resort course and had a lot of fun.

We also took a sunset sail.

We did not do the kookunkuku bus, but it looked like so much fun everytime it drove by.

Hope those help. FM me if you have questions...

Congrats and have fun!

Night
