SOOOO MAD.....TAX CHECK

Did anyone get theyre $600 check yet? Apparently I got mine today and it was only $300 I'm LIVID! I'm not understanding this and also who do I call to get this fixed?

$300??!! thats it?? maybe you didnt make the annual salary cap for the 600 refund? You will get a letter in the mail pretty son about the return so maybe it wil say something about it in there

I had over the requirement. I tried calling i was on hold for a half hour and then they say that theyre system is backed up to call again. UGH i'm so mad

They will send a form that explains it, did you have any tax liability last year? (students may not, FH and I both got 300)

They have a strange calculation for it, but they send out a letter that explains the figure

yeah if you are a student or were one last year you only get 300 .. thats what I am getting hopefully !!!!

really? even if you claim yourself? my accountant told me $600 i was expecting it and today when I saw $300 i bugged

I would be upset 2! I bet so many people are calling and complaining cause I heard about a few people who didnt receive the right amount. I hope they fix it for you

this is so annoying. I was a student for 8 months out of the year and i didnt make over the qualifying amount i have to call my accountant this is so annoying. I hate the tax man

i got 600, but i wasnt a full time student last year, and i also claim a child...so dont know if that makes a difference

if i'm not mistaken, they counted your kid in with the $600. So in other words you did get $300 for yourself, and you automatically got $300 b/c of your kid.

My friend just had this happen and it didn't make sense considering they were over the minimum and below the max.

Same here, i'm a student and got the full $600. You do have to fall in some income bracket. Did you check the IRS website? You can put in information and it tells you what your check is and why. Try that, hope it helps!

The irs says you can receive up to $600. There maybe factors that redue your benefit. Being a student may effect your benefit.

Also, check if there has been a mistake. I heard that they underpaid millions of people by mistake. So, that may be the case.
