Re: shower curtain - in or out?

Well, it depends. If you have a shower curtain and a liner, the liner stays in and the curtain stays out.

if you only have the curtain, I think it should stay in the tub so that the water drips into the tub and not onto the floor.

Re: shower curtain - in or out?

well we have the shower liner and the fabric curtain...but the curtain just looks sloppy when its out so when i'm not showering i tuck it in...but he leaves it out and i keep going back to tuck it in coz i hate the way it looks. maybe its coz this tub has a wrap around L shaped bar so theres 2 curtains and it just lays funny?

Re: shower curtain - in or out?

We have the liner and the curtain so we leave the liner inside and the curtain hanging outside. If we put them both in it looks a little funny b/c it's kind of pulled back too far.

Re: shower curtain - in or out?

liner in, curtain out. the cats like to walk on the edge of the tub and play between them. the master bath has a shower so we use that 99% of the time

Re: shower curtain - in or out?

I say out... however, there is something that FH and I argue about as far as shower curtains... he always leaves the shower curtain open after he showers. This bothers the hell out of me... I need it shut, and not just shut in a sloppy way, it needs to be perfectly even so that not one side is bunched up more than the other (if that makes sense to you). This is something that I am so OCD about!

Re: shower curtain - in or out?

Melody, my mother used to do exactly what you do. The curtain was out, liner in, but when no one was in the shower, they were both in.

I'm just glad that it's not only me that has little OCD things, even if they aren't important or make sense to others.

FH does the same thing after the shower! I'm with you it kills me if its all bunched up. I'm always telling him liner in..curtain out and you must shut the curtain and even it out. FH thinks I'm nuts about this.

Re: shower curtain - in or out?

The plastic shower liner goes in and the shower curtain is outside the tub. FH always puts both in the tub and it irratates me to no end...maybe it's just a man thing.
