Flower Girl or Jr Bridesmaid????

Okay, heres the dilema. I have one niece that I think will be too young to be the flower girl. She will be only 2 1/2 by the time the wedding comes around. My FH has a niece that will be 11. Do you think that it will be innapropriate for her to be my flowergirl. Do you think she should be a jr. bridesmaid instead? I have been throwing this question around in my head for months now. The problem is the BM dresses that I Have been looking at don't have matching Jr BM dresses. And I want all the girls in the same dress. I think that is the main reason why she wants to be a JR BM. HELP!!!!!!!!!!! Do you think I am insulting her by asking her to be a flowergirl??????

i think 11 is a bit old to be a flower girl. that role is typically for younger girls and she may feel a little funny. maybe you can just order the BM dress in smallest size and have some major alterations done?

I think that at 11 a girl should be a Jr. BM. My Jr. BM is 9. I found BM dresses by Bill Levkoff that had matching Jr. BM dresses made by Ms. Jillian. The colors match exactly and the styles are complimentary (the the Jr. BM dress being appropriate for her age). Check out Ms. Jillian.
