Pottery Barn Furniture?

Quality?
Thinking of a dining set for the kitchen.

Since it's less than the one I originally wanted from Fortunoff:

And I have all these PB gift certs from my shower and the wedding.

Re: Pottery Barn Furniture?

Susan....I have the tristan coffee table and console table (wink, wink) which I would imagine would be a good indication of the dining room furniture.

The quality is quite good and the coffee table is SO HEAVY I cant even move it (to vacuum) without someone's elses help.

Its not quite as good as restoration hardwares stuff (which is mostly solid cedar, etc..) but thats in a whole different price point.

Re: Pottery Barn Furniture?

Chairs are so expensive...but you will kick yourself for buying cheap chairs since they fall apart fast!

Susan - did I mention that i hate you for having an island? Island = perfect house for me. I can barely fit my dishes into my kitchen, no less an island :D

Re: Pottery Barn Furniture?

Stef
the door is always open.
You can come out and hang out in the 'sticks' with me. I'll take you to Applebees LOL

Or I'll cook.
Might as well put the appliances to use.

Re: Pottery Barn Furniture?

My old roommate recently bought the Allegro sleighbed and headboard. Gorgeous and good quality.

Love the barstools!

Sounds like you are having fun putting the new house together! Good luck!!

Re: Pottery Barn Furniture?

That is a beautiful set. I think their furniture is pretty good. I highly doubt there is a big difference between PB and Fortnoffs, if any at all.

Let me know when your photos come in. We can met at Pizza Uno

Re: Pottery Barn Furniture?

I have a desk and shelving from Pottery Barn, and the quality is terrific.
I found a couch in the catalogue that I LOVED for my living room, but when I took Patrick to see it he hated it. ::sigh:: Next time I buy first, show later...
