Nassau County Engagement Party - HEEEEEELLLLP

Hi all...

I am planning an engagement party for my brother - he lives in LA so can't be much help. Anyone have any suggestions? It will be the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, and we would like it to be a brunch. On the water is great, although not a must. A place near parkways and the expressway would be perfect. Please...I am in a rush! We were going to have it at Coco's, but we have too many people coming - around 80. Thanks a lot!

im having my engagement party the same weekend but a sunday afternoon at domenicos resturant in levittown. i always rave about this place. it has great service, prices, and excellent food. they are located right off hempstead turnpike. check it out!!

What about the Milleridge Carriage house? I soooo want to have some kind of party there!!

what about Paddy McGees in Island Park (I think)
They are on the water and have brunch on the weekends.

DiMaggios in Port Washington is on the water, and the food and service are both great.

What about Cafe Spazzo in Westbury? They have a private room that holds 90 and the food is yummy!

I am having mine at Stresa - on Northern Blvd near both the LIE and Northern state (but not on the water). It does not have a private room but since we are having it during the day they are opening up the restaurant for us so we will have it all to ourselves

I had my engagement party at the Milleridge Inn - Garden Room - - it was beautiful and the food was great and right off the expressway. San Suchi in Sea Cliff is also beautiful - gorgeous view of LI Sound. Good Luck
