Bridal party's significant other in limo?

Hey Girls,
One of the groomsmen asked if his girlfriend of 5 minutes could ride in the bridal party limo with him. I was just going to have the bridal party only- not their girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, or wives....once I start that I'll have to get a bigger limo, and everyone will want to include their partner. What are you girls doing? To include or not to include? Am I being snotty?

Re: Bridal party's significant other in limo?

We are providing transportation for the bridal party and their significant others. The way we see it is that these people spent A LOT of money to be a part of our wedding and the least we can do is provide a SAFE ride there and home so they can relax and party and not worry about DWI.

Re: Bridal party's significant other in limo?

I would say NO!! Why should you have to spend more $$ just to give his GF of 5 minutes a lift?? Usually the significant other drives, so that the BP member has a ride home - that's what we did when FI was BM a few months ago.

I think the limo should be a special time for the BP - these are the people that know you guys the best, and were included in the BP for a reason.

Re: Bridal party's significant other in limo?

i don't think you should have to have them in the limo with you.

We offered to arrange for the transportation of our BP's SO's on the wedding day via town car service. We wanted everyone to have a great time and not wonder or worry about how they were getting home.

Re: Bridal party's significant other in limo?

I say do whatever makes people happy... since we had a lot of out-of-towners we had tons of people ridding in limos. On the way home we had people with US in OUR LIMO. I was so happy to be married I coulda had a farm animal in there w/ me and not care.

But- if it makes you have to spend xtra cash, I'd say no way b/c you have enough $ to lay out, ya know?

Re: Bridal party's significant other in limo?

No way!!! Our limo was only the bridal party members and my immediate family, that is my parents and my brother only. The bigger the limo the more it's gonna cost with the size. Our best man's wife drove her own car the whole day, and bridesmaid's b/f drove her to my mother's house where we would get dressed, hair and make-up ready. Our bridesmaid's b/f drove himself to church and then to the reception and then drove her home.

IMHO, no way!!!
