I am wondering if the MC is supposed to give you suggestions on which songs to play for special dances if you ask him for suggestions?

Mine has been less than helpful, so I am seriously thinking of 'decreasing' his tip at the wedding...

Its not a big deal, but not a great positive.

So just asking what the proper approach would be.

My DJ gave me a whole booklet of songs for all different special dances and when we had questions were more than helpful in answering them. If you find them to be unhelpful, there are a lot of websites that can you help you in this area. Look at various dj and weddings sites many have sections on this and with links for sound clips as well.
