Mr. Softee at 9:50 PM??

I dont mean to sound like a Scrooge right now but does anyone else find it weird that Mr. Softee shows up close to 10 PM on most nights? I don care most of the time but I have two 7 year olds at my house right now having a sleep-over and just when I get them to calm down with the junk food, Mr. Fricken Softee shows up with his chipper old song outside my window. He's lucky I didnt throw eggs at him

I crave ice cream late at night too so thats another reason I hate him. And who knows WHAT he's selling this time of night. I did see some strange characters lining up

Welcome to the last 2 months in my neighborhood

! Some afternoons/evenings Mr.S comes by four times. There are many times I wish I either had a bee bee gun or was semi hearing impaired. Says the girl who bought 3 boxes of Weight Watcher ice cream in hopes of running to my freezer rather than to the truck.

i've lived in astoria for 7 years and i swear every summer, mr softee rolls around just around the 10:00 hour!!! i think it's soooooo strange! i've never seen any kids at the truck, but i have seen a few adults......i would bet $ he's selling more than ice cream

so funny, this reminds me of when my daughter was a baby. The kid would never nap during the day & I was TIRED!! I finally got her to sleep one afternoon and here comes the damn Mr. Softee truck ringing his damn bell!!!! I ran outside and SCREAMED on him!!

I know, I'm the worst, but I didn't give a crap I was a sleep deprived!!

Well, needless to say we didn't see him around our neighborhood for awhile!!
