HELP!!! My photographer at Patken has been changed five weeks before my wedding

My original photographer was Janine and I absolutely love her work. Janine had surgery on her hands and my photographer has been replaced to Frank (Bones). I know some girls here had him photograph their weddings, but I don't know anything about Frank.

Is he any good?

How is his personality?

Does he take good pics?

Did you feel comfortable with him?

Could you post some photos he took?

Unfortunately, I live in Brooklyn and they are located in Lindenhurst Long Island. I had fallen in love with Janine's work. I will have to go to Lindenhurst this weekend and check them out : ( Again!!!!! I booked them months ago

ohh Sorry to hear this Mary, I am sure they will do a fantastic job,,Vinnie isnt availble is he??? or what about Jesse?? I think thats her name,, definately ask to see his portfolio. You should be fine dont worry.

Honestly, I would try to change if you can. I just asked her why she didn't like him and she said he was 'mildly retarded'. Not a very PC thing to say but that shows what she thinks of him. She said he was completely uncreative and her pictures relfect that. He also used film instead of digital and she had a lot less pictures to choose from because of it.

Call them and ask if they can send you a disc or an email to view his work specifically, explain that you really were happy with who you booked and this change has made you nervous and you just want to make sure that you will be happy with him
