wine bottle favors

Any ideas on how to decorate wine bottles? I want to make them pretty, instead of just putting them on the table. Any thoughts?

When I did this for my sister, I bought tulle rounds and wrapped them bottom up, so that the tulle gathered around the neck of the bottle. Then tied it off with the name/date ribbon and a small rosette. It was really pretty!

here's what I originally wanted to do, but considering we had 100+ to wrap, there was no way!!

So instead we found clear bags, wrapped them and tied matching ribbon around the necks. It turned out to be nicer since you could see our labels on the bottle

Thanks! Does anyone know where I can find those bags? The clear plastic ones, or the fabric ones. I have seen them, but not really in a wine bottle shape.

I looked EVERYWHERE for clear wine bags - the only ones I could find were so expensive. Then I realized that my wine store actually gives them to you for free when you order wine! So I picked them up at Pindar.

The place where we purchased the wine bottles rapped them and put a whit bow around them. They were pretty. We also had little labels put on.

Those are great ideas- thanks! I haven't ordered them yet, and I will ask the place if they come with any bags, or plastic to wrap them in.

Ordered mine from Duckwalk. They wrapped them for me (I used a clear wrap with white wedding decoration). I also ordered labels from www.myownlabels.com and the vineyard put them on for me before wrapping them. Looked pretty.

Niecey, we had the same bags.

Luckily, Pindar supplied the bags and wrapped for us too! We also had a label with one of our engagement pictures that said our names and the date.
