Honest opinions about my DIY placecards and table numbers.
We are having an indian/irish wedding and reception. Mostly indian but with some irish things mixed in.Our table numbers will be numbered 1 through 26 but will also have the 26 different counties of Ireland along with some small tidbit about the county. I want my placecards to match the table numbers. My programs are with the same font and color scheme (dark red and black).
I have two options so far in terms of borders. Opinions?
Here are the jpg's from what I created on my computer.

Thanks! Do you think the table numbers are too busy? I have a number, county name (Dublin), map of ireland, county tidbit and border!

the only thing i would suggest is to make the table number less bold/harsh.. maybe make it with an outline, something to pretty it up... i know theyre supposed to be bold so you can see them but maybe add a little design, outline, or scrolls??

I like the first one better, but agree with another poster that the table # is a bit harsh, I also think Dublin could be smaller.

I love it, I'm Irish....but I would say for the table numbers to take the borders off. The map of Ireland is enough.BTW: How did you get the map behind the number.
They really came out awesome.

Re: Honest opinions about my DIY placecards and table numbers.
Thank you everyone for your feedback!- I made Dublin smaller
- Gave the '1' a shadow so it's a bit prettier (it's subtle... can you even tell?)
- Here's one more border style and one without any border
I wanted the border to be more of an indian-style but maybe I should forget it altogether

Re: Honest opinions about my DIY placecards and table numbers.
SoonToBeMrsBrady - I used adobe photoshop to do this. With photoshop, you can darken or lighten any image. So I started with the map and made it lighter and lighter, and then I added the text on top. When I print these out on my color printer, the map of Ireland actually comes out even lighter than it does on the screen.

They are really cute but, I would change the black from the number its alittle harsh. You can maybe make it a lighter font.Welcome New Vendors
