Mother of the Bride Dress

Hi ladies. I am looking for a dress or pant suit for my mom for the wedding. We have been out looking in several stores, but nothing that she just likes. We are looking for something in either chocolate or ivory. Have any of you orderd anything online? If so what site did you use? Or post any pics you might have? TIA.

Re: Mother of the Bride Dress

I would suggest trying Chadwicks...they have an online store as well as a catalog. My sister got a beautiful gown for her daug. wedding and I have also sent for dressy outfits. They are reasonable also.

Re: Mother of the Bride Dress

If you are willing to come to Brooklyn there are a few really good stores here. First would be the one where I got my MOG gown, Nina's mom got her MOB Gown, her sister got a gown and my SIL got a gown for the wedding...the store is Doris Fashions on 18th Avenue and 68th Street. Ask for Maria and have Josephine do the alterations.
Then there is Valentina Bridal on New Utrecht Ave & 76th Street, Kelly's Kreations on 18th Ave & 72nd street, Lestan's on Ralph Avenue and Flatlands Avenue and many more that I can't think of right now.
Good luck and have fun shopping.

Re: Mother of the Bride Dress

You might try Totally You in Bellmore. They had quite a nice selection of dressy pantsuits there.
