If you could change anything on LIW....

Hi, I was bored so...


This site is great and so helpful, I believe we can all agree. It's given us great tips and advice. What is one other feature you wish it could have?


I think it would be nice to have a live-feed, or a automatic self refresher...so I don't have to reload to update and see new posters messages, that would be nice

I wish we'd get a message everytime someone leaves a comment in our photo albums.

also, it would be nice to get a message everytime someone quotes us on a thread. sometimes u get quoted and people either respond to something u've said or have a question about something u've said and u'd never know unless u go back and re-read the thread again.

I think you can go into your account settings and select an option that lets you get an email anytime someone responds to a post...I just think this...let me check though...be back!

Edit: Didn't see anything, but I feel like I've seen this option...anyone else know what I'm talking about...

when you post, it lets you check that box to get notification when someone responds. i don't think it works that way w/ albums.

I know theres an option 'e-mail me when I recieve Forum Mail'..but thats the only one I've seen


yeah that would be nice to know if someone commented on your pics or quoted you!

I hate when it signs me out when I leave it idle while I'm at work. I have to sign back in like a million times during the day!

I would like it if each girl had her own thread and updated it instead of always seeing threads 'I got this and that'.

I think it would be more organized and we could keep track of eachother's progress if each girl kept one thread as a log.

Also - there are definitely alot of threads about the same thing, over and over again, because alot of people don't search.

I'm a mod on another forum (NWR), and while I love this place and how casual it is, when I see the same thread started 3 or 4 times a day I think 'don't people read'.

but that's just me. I'm a little nuts when it comes to these things.

i wish they wouldn't give out our information to vendors. i recieve 15 emails a day plus junk mail to my house plus ive been getting phone calls! its very frustrating

I really wish you could just hit a next post button to move from one post to the next. I hate having to go back out to the list and click on the next post.

I would like an email sent to me when people commented on my photos. That and an email notification of when someone responds to a thread of mine.

My FH is an engineer and he always says the site could be organized better...

Especially the search feature... sometimes it does not come back with what I am searching for.

But I love it none-the-less!

I know a million ppl will post this, but i just wish they wouldnt delete posts about vendors when we rant!! Besides that - nada~

ha Ha. I'm an engineer and that's what I said!!!

As for the mail and calls from vendors - it stops after 2 weeks.

You can opt to keep yourself logged in by clicking the box when you sign on. Im not sure if you want to do that if its a work computer though.

I totally agree with this post!!

I'd love it if you could roll your mouse over the topic/subject of the post and it would give you a kind of pop up of the first few lines of the post. I've seen that done on another site and it's really cool...keeps you from opening up posts you have either already read or don't have an interest in.

that aggrivates the heck out of me too

i mean if i requested info its one thing but 5000000000000000000 emails a day and so much wasted paper on junk mail i just toss as soon as i bring it in.

you can get notifications when someone responds to your threads. Theres a feature to subscribe to threads.
