What stress?

I am constantly hearing people tell me how stressful wedding planning is and how stressful the whole expierence can get.... but i just dont get it... I have done the whole gown searching, flowers, dj, photogs etc so it s not like I am not aware of all that goes into it but what what am I missing?? I hear stress and question marks appear in my head, my best friend just got married and we had a blast planning it for the past year and a half and there was not an ounce of stress...

what am i missing ?

i understand money can be stressful , but money is stressful in every expierence in life

i guess everyone handles things differently. personally for me booking vendors wasn't stressful. it was actually a lot of fun. but other things like deciding on the colors, picking bm dresses and now invitation design STRESSES me out. maybe its cuz i'm a gemini and one moment i love one thing and the next minute i love something else.
also, getting all the bm's together do try on the dress and now ORDER the dress has been stressful. I like my things done a certain way and i am very organized. i know not everyone is that way but trying to get 5 girls to order a dress when they knew since JANUARY they were in this wedding and seeing how unresponsive they are and how i have to remind them 50,000 times to go get measured isnt exactly my cup of tea

so in a nutshell. thats my stress, so far

I agree. I'm not even stressed about the money. And we are 5 months away and definitely still have a lot to pay off.

I almost think I'm too relaxed and laid back when I read some posts. I planned entire wedding in about 2 weeks. (Maybe I did something wrong?)

I agree- so far things have been fun and I have only encountered really nice and helpful vendors! It helps to not be a high- stress person.. some people almost like to get stressed out.... not me!
ALthough- when I think about the guest list I get a little nervous- FH and I both have huge families!!
