It's been a while . . .

It's been a while since I've been on, and a lot has happened, so I'll try and sum it up

FH and I actually came back last week from 3 weeks in Greece!! We had an amazing time, and we really needed some down time.

I actually found a dress for my bridal shower while I was there (a very generous gift from FH grandparents). I didn't get a chance to take a pic to post for everyone, my cousin came and picked it up (she's bringing it for me to change into)

I came home to a message that my Wedding Dress is in!!! 2 months early!! They had initially told me October

I did a little registry stalking when I came back and saw that some stuff has been purchased (not a lot, but things that I wasn't even sure if I would received)


And then some bad news . . . a lot of Sh*t happened at work the day I left, and now I'm hoping to quit ASAP, I don't want to be unemployed so I'm hoping I find something soon. The environment there has become unbearable and I really just need to get out. It really smacked me in the face when I came back so it's taken me some time to absorb what really happened

Welcome back!! I'm sorry to hear about your job...keep concentrating on all the good stuff going on for you right now and hopefully a better job will come along soon!

I live in Manhasset, but work in Midtown. I've worked for insurance companies for about 6 years. I'm currently a manager in their contracting & registration department. I am so open to anything right now! If you hear of anything FM me. TIA

Welcome back! Glad you had a fab time in Greece. We are going there on our honeymoon and I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you got your shower dress and that your dress came in- that's awesome. Sorry to hear about your job though. When things get that unbearable, sometimes its best to get out of there quickly.

I am so sorry to hear about the job situation. It really is the worst when you are miserable at work. You spend 8 hours with those people and when there isnt harmony it makes the day that much more unbearable. Just know that I've been there and my heart goes out to you. Hang in there, something will come along!
